1 Pt 3:21 And this water symbolizes baptism that now saves you also—not the removal of dirt from the body but the pledge of a clear conscience toward God. It saves you by the resurrection of Jesus Christ
Jesus Christ affirms that Baptism is necessary for salvation. “No one can enter the Kingdom of God without being born of water and the Spirit” (Jn 3:5). Christ commanded his disciples to preach the Gospel, draw people to faith in Him, and baptize those who come to conversion. Our Church encourages all members to be baptized and reborn of water and the Spirit
Four reasons why every believer MUST be baptized by water immersion:
Baptism is an outward symbol of an inward reality of genuine conversion of every believer.
Baptism is a symbol of identification with the death, burial and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Baptism is an open declaration of separation from the world
Baptism is to follow the example of our Lord Jesus Christ om fulfilling all righteousness.
