Spiritual Parenting
Is the process of willing submission to learn the life of Christ, from a mature Christian who is also under Authority(Also learning from a trusted person ).

Who is a spiritual parent
A spiritual parent is a mature Christian, who is under Authority and has a track record of righteous lifestyle and holy living with a “clear” manifestation of the character of Christ (2 Cor 3:5)
A spiritual parent must be concerned and have oversight on all areas of our lives but first and foremost concerned about your spiritual life (other areas are also very important but secondary to this )
Attributes of “Proper” spiritual parents
*Genuine humility
*Must Visibly possess the fruits of the Holy Spirit (By their fruit, you shall know them)
*Must not be abusive in any way
Few benefits
* Life transfer (It is easier to learn when there is a reference )
* Avoiding error(both mild and serious errors)
* capacity building
* Purpose discovery
Seeing the importance and benefits of this, we encourage everyone to take a step today to pray and with wisdom as stated above search out a spiritual parent for ourselves
